Job Description

Principal, Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director - Development Planning - London

Do you have what it takes to lead development planning as a discipline at one of the UK's top engineering consultancies? Are you a talented work-winner with a track record of leading and motivating teams?

We've partnered with one of the UK's longest standing and most well established engineering consultancies, who stand out for their longevity and reputation, with over 100 years in the industry.

On this occasion, they are looking to appoint a Transport Planner Team Lead, who will be the acting head of the Development Planning discipline in their London office, a stones throw from London Bridge. This is available at a range of levels of seniority, including Principal, Associate, Associate Director and Technical Director.

You will have the opportunity to spearhead the creation of a new team in London, taking on new responsibilities and being rewarded commensurately. This is an unprecedented opportunity for a talented professional to carve out their path into the highest levels of the transport planning career.

The ideal candidate will be technically excellent in the production of Development Planning deliverables, including Transport Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, as well as using junction modelling software, AutoCAD, GIS, and other related skills. In addition, a track record of winning new work, and leading, upskilling, and mentoring a team, will be critical.

To reward you for your commitment and hard work, there is no shortage of rewards and benefits, which includes but is not restricted to:

  • 33 days annual leave including public holidays
  • Paid overtime beyond standard 37.5 hour working week
  • Competitive Pension Scheme
  • Child Care Voucher Scheme
  • Cash Back Health Plan Scheme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Loyalty Bonus
  • Professional Qualification Bonus
  • Employee Reward Scheme
  • Employee Professional Subscriptions Paid

This is an extremely rare opportunity for a talented Transport Planner to take their career to the highest level. Don't miss out, apply with your CV if interested, or feel free to contact George Banks on (phone number removed) or Linkedin for an informal discussion.
