Job Description

Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £40k - £52k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

A well-established consultancy offering sustainable environmental building, design, and engineering services across the UK and globally.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will deliver robust electrical design solutions and support management in project oversight with minimal supervision.

Duties:

  • Produce electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Contribute to compliance with BREEAM and Building Regulations.
  • Conduct non-intrusive surveys of existing installations
  • Perform spatial allowance exercises for main plant areas
  • Witness commissioning procedures and ensure quality assurance.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Maintain effective project schedules and QA systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role.
  • HNC / HND or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit.
  • Degree in Engineering would be preferred
  • Chartered or working towards it (desirable)
  • Stay updated with industry standards and technological advancements.
