Undertake specialist pressure testing, chlorination, dechlorination, and the commissioning of water assets when required.
Conduct detailed pre, post, and live site surveys, inspections, and monitoring, including supporting RAMS preparation, approval, and onsite briefings for the safe and compliant delivery of the service.
Liaise directly with all stakeholders, including management, desktop and onsite teams, third-party contractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure high standards of communication between all parties.
Closely monitor the performance of water treatment systems, analysing key parameters such as flow rates, pressure, turbidity, chlorine levels, pH balance, and other relevant indicators to verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
Issue Identification and Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of issues during the commissioning process and troubleshoot to resolve, repair, or make adjustments in liaison with all stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive records of all activities, including survey and audit reports, photo evidence, tests, and adjustments throughout the commissioning process.
Manage and maintain equipment, including regulatory pressure testing and disinfection inspections, maintenance of water quality testing and monitoring devices, hoses, fittings, and specialist vehicles.
Support the strategic growth of the commissioning service by refining current processes to incorporate pressure testing and other service requirements.
During intermittent commissioning service downtime, liaise directly with the Project Team to manage and deliver probe installations and maintenance programs or alternative workstreams.
Some extended shifts, including evenings and weekends, will be required within working time regulations, either planned or at short notice.
Undertake line management duties, including ongoing teaching and mentoring, annual and mid-year appraisals, setting objectives, and fostering a positive work culture for your immediate team.
